Walk the Kindness Way 2026 – Connected in Kindness
Friday, October 23, Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026
Fairview Parkwood Craigwiel Communities (FPCC) invites you to join us for the 7th Annual Walk the Kindness Way — a weekend dedicated to kindness, connection, community and care.
What began as a single walk has continued to grow into something much bigger — bringing together residents, families, staff, congregations, community partners, and supporters in a shared commitment to compassion and care.
Our 2026 theme, “Connected in Kindness,” reflects the relationships, support, and sense of community that continue to grow through this event each year. This year’s theme also recognizes the continued unification of Fairview, Parkwood and Craigwiel.
This year’s event will once again bring participants along the beautiful Walter Bean Grand River Trail as we walk from Fairview Community in Cambridge to Parkwood Community in Waterloo over two days on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24.
New this year, Walk the Kindness Way will continue into Sunday, October 25 with a special community walk in support of Craigwiel Gardens. Participants will gather at the Church at Nairn and walk together to Craigwiel Gardens’ campus, expanding the reach of this year’s event across all three FPCC communities.
Proceeds will benefit the Kindness Cupboards at all three campuses, as well as the furnishing of Fairview’s Healing Garden, furnishing and additional plantings at Parkwood’s Healing Garden and the creation of outdoor paths and gardens at Craigwiel Gardens.
Whether walking beside one another, cheering from the sidelines, volunteering or donating, every act of kindness helps strengthen the connections that make our communities so special. Your participation and support help make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve across Fairview, Parkwood, and Craigwiel.
Let’s walk together. Let’s support one another. Let’s stay Connected in Kindness.
