Craigwiel’s Adult Day Programs serve the northern part of Middlesex County. This area includes the municipalities of North Middlesex, Middlesex Centre, Lucan-Biddulph, Strathroy as well as the Komoka-Kilworth area.
We offer two distinct programs:
Alzheimer’s and Special Needs Program on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This program is for smaller groups for those who require more individual attention and/or one-to-one programming. Our staff are trained in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) and we have a multi-sensory room on site to better support our clients.
An integrated program on Tuesdays and Thursdays, supporting individuals who are socially isolated or have physical needs.
Both programs feature outings on our accessible bus, including lunch trips, ice cream drives, shopping excursions and Christmas concerts.
Volunteers are an essential part of our Day Programs. We truly could not offer the care and programming without the support of our volunteer drivers and program volunteers. If you would like to volunteer in our day programs or elsewhere at Craigwiel Gardens, please call or email us at:

Whirlpool Baths
Maintaining personal hygiene is essential in our everyday lives. It can be difficult to accomplish this on our own when we are experiencing chronic pain, mobility issues or our bathrooms are not setup with the correct equipment to assist.
Our trained PSW staff provide assistance with different levels of care required for each bath. We provide a private space to meet the personal needs of each individual. We do offer our own soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.
Our bathing services include:
- Assistance with transfers into our tub lift chair
- Assistance with undressing and redressing
- Other grooming needs – hair combing, drying off, applying lotion, etc.
We offer our bathing services to clients and community individuals at a reasonable price.
